It’s time to introduce everyone to our newest Kambrian! Virginia joins us a People Operations Specialist after finishing her graduate studies. Read on to learn how she found Kambr and get some very useful life advice from an Italian actor.

Where are you from?

I am from a little town in the province of Cuneo, in Northwest Italy, next to the Alps.

When did you start working at Kambr?

February 21st 2022. This has been my first week!

What’s your role at Kambr?

People Operations Specialist.

I was randomly searching for “best international startups in the Netherlands” on Google. The first result suggested Kambr and I applied for the General Application on its website

What was your path to Kambr?

As someone who aspires to travel and be immersed in an international type of environment and as a fresh master’s graduate in Human Resources, I was randomly searching for “best international startups in the Netherlands” on Google.

The first result suggested Kambr and I applied for the General Application on its website. It turned out that Kambr’s needs and mine met. So, here I am.

What keeps you busy outside of work?

I love doing sports to decompress, especially outdoors. Health is the most important value for me.

Also, I am fascinated by human psychology, and I always spend some time reading neuroscientific and psychology-related articles.

What makes you happy?

Cats, chocolate, walking, biking, music, and sunset.

Which superpower would you love to have?

Teleportation so that my friends won’t have to deal with my delays.

What’ your favorite book and why?

That is a cliché, but I am going to say it. On the road by Jack Kerouac. I love the way he writes.

What’s the best advice you’ve ever received?

This is from a famous Italian actor, Carlo Verdone. You live several times, and you only die once.

This means you always have time to reinvent yourself and change as many times as you wish. Just don’t rush.

What did you want to be when you grew up?

A lawyer. I still don’t know why.

What’s the airport you’ve been to the most?

I think Amsterdam? Or maybe Turin? 🤔

Window seat or aisle seat?

Obviously, window!

Favorite place to fly to.

Toronto! I always say this is my second home.
